The purpose of submitting your story is to provide information, the story, to serve as inspiration and motivation. It is important for people to know what could happen to them, that they do have options and that someone else has gone through the same thing they are going through.

The stories can have a 'good' or 'bad' ending, but they must be true. Both kinds of stories can help a person by providing a kind of motivation.

This isn't just about helping drug or alcohol addicted person - which is a very noble deed to perform. But, it is also about providing insight and understanding to those who love a drug addicted person and want to help and be as supportive as they can. It is trying for them, some hope would go a long way!

Drug Abuse Stories May Help

Drug addiction is a serious problem not just for the individual addicted but also for those who care about a person under such an affliction. Drug abuse stories may be able to help shed some light, understanding and perhaps even inspiration to help an addicted person or the people who love him or her.

Drug and alcohol abuse are serious situations that take a terrible toll on families and society as a whole. There has to be a way to overcome them. So much hinges on the individual will power of the addicted person. He / She must choose what they want. Once, the person chooses to get help - a lot more can be done.

Fibromyalgia

When I was in school, I remember a Dr. Rockwell who gave us a special lecture on fibromyalgia.

I remember that he talked about the fascia, a layer of tissue under the skin and how he believed that accumulations of toxins in that tissue was the cause of fribromyalgia pain.

Book Update

Some may be wondering when my book What You Should Know about Gum Disease is going to be available on Amazon and Barnes & Nobels websites.

It should be soon. You can still sign up for notification at the above website.

The hold up is that the book is in the hands of an editor and the book designer and it is not certain how long they will take to make it all public.

Then, there are always marketing considerations. You have to have a game plan to market the book, but I guess that is another story. You also have to make it possible for others to market you book or product as well!

The bottom line is that writing a book and getting it published requires more work than you might think. The process isn't something that I can completely control. There are many people involved. Sure, I could get pushy about it, but I prefer to let things take their natural course.

I do make changes from time to time during this whole process. I am able to do so because things are not being done in a rushed manner. I'd rather see it come out right.

Even so, it will take time, a bit more time.....
